Current programs and Activities: Outline your core programs and activities, specifying your target beneficiaries and the geographical areas you serve.

Creation Society Nepal (CSN) implements several core programs and activities aimed at promoting child rights, online safety, and governance practices across Nepal. Our flagship programs include comprehensive training sessions on child online safety, facilitated in partnership with UNICEF and Nepal Telecommunication Authority, reaching over 4,000 children through multiple training-of-trainers and direct training initiatives. We have also developed child-friendly training manuals and an e-learning platform, www.net4good.org, to enhance children’s digital literacy and safety. CSN actively engages with stakeholders through dialogues, workshops, and provincial discussions, collaborating with organizations like the National Child Right Council and Non-Government Organizations Federation Nepal to advocate for child protection policies and guidelines. These efforts span various provinces and districts, ensuring broad geographic coverage and impact throughout Nepal.

Success Stories.

strength of CSN

Creation Society Nepal (CSN), established in 2013, has a robust background in engaging the public on relevant policy issues. Our successful public awareness campaigns include organizing training for child online safety across seven provinces, reaching approximately 4,000 children (2017-2018), and conducting virtual training sessions for 3,800 children (2019). We facilitated five-panel discussions on child online safety, reaching over 20,000 virtual audiences (2019). CSN organized provincial dialogues and discussions on child online safety challenges, needs, and actions in Madesh, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces (2023). Our expertise extends to facilitating Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), especially with marginalized groups, as demonstrated in our emergency support project for earthquake-affected children in Kavre Municipality (2015) and the CFLG promotion in 14 earthquake-affected districts (2016-2017). These initiatives highlight CSN’s capability in soliciting policy inputs, fostering public engagement, and promoting social justice, human rights, and peace through community collaboration.
